Supplier Quality Engineer at Curtiss Wright | LAYIQ

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Typically 2 to 4 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
Aerospace experience preferred but not essential.
Familiar with PFMEA, AS9102 FAIR’s, control plans
Knowledge of quality engineering and measurement tools and methodologies. Experience in measurement techniques, GD&T, and measurement systems analysis skills, particularly with respect to machined components.
Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) processes, using RCCA tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 whys, etc.
Knowledge of supplier quality management systems, AS9100 / ISO9001, and auditing practices.
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills. Experience in working together with suppliers to achieve a common goal when dealing with problem resolution.
Must be able to manage multiple suppliers and be self-motivated. Expectations to manage suppliers, problem resolution, build relationships with suppliers, improve current PPM and OTD
Ability to influence suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
