What We're Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications
Demonstrated success leading Talent Acquisition teams in a complex, global environment.
Proven experience leading, developing and coaching recruiters to build strong succession pipelines.
Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and establishing credibility with business leaders.
Experience using talent intelligence, market insights, and data-driven decision making to shape hiring strategies and business outcomes.
Proven track record of leveraging AI tools (e.g., Spark, Copilot, Gemini, or similar technologies) to drive productivity, improve decision-making, and enhance Talent Acquisition outcomes.
Required Skills and Attributes
Strategic thinker who can connect business priorities, talent needs, and recruiting strategies to deliver measurable outcomes.
Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across multiple functions and leadership groups.
Ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and organizational transformation.
Passion for developing people, coaching leaders, and creating high-performing teams.
Continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to challenge existing approaches and drive innovation.
Curiosity and readiness to embrace AI, automation, and new ways of working across Talent Acquisition.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading Talent Acquisition transformation, operating model redesign, or large-scale change initiatives.
Experience implementing or scaling recruiting technologies, talent intelligence platforms, CRM solutions, AI tools, or automation capabilities.
Strong understanding of skills-based hiring, talent intelligence, labor market trends, and evolving workforce dynamics.
Experience operating within highly matrixed global organizations and partnering with multiple stakeholder groups.

The successful candidate will be more than a recruiting leader. They will be a leader of leaders who can inspire teams, build strong partnerships, influence executive stakeholders, and help shape the future of Talent Acquisition at S&P Global.
As Talent Acquisition continues to evolve, this role is increasingly focused on leadership, strategic partnership, talent intelligence, technology adoption, and organizational transformation. While delivery excellence remains critical, success in this role will be defined by the ability to lead leaders, influence senior stakeholders, advance AI-enabled ways of working, and contribute to the future direction of Talent Acquisition at S&P Global.
They will operate as a connector across the broader talent ecosystem, bringing together recruiting, skills priorities, internal mobility, leadership hiring, talent planning, and market intelligence to help the business make better talent decisions.
They will bring a growth mindset, embrace innovation, and be excited by the opportunity to help define how Talent Acquisition evolves in an increasingly AI-enabled environment while continuing to deliver exceptional outcomes for stakeholders, hiring leaders, and candidates.

The role requires the ability to operate confidently across a broad and diverse stakeholder landscape, supporting leaders across Market Intelligence, the Chief Commercial Office, and the broader People organization.
