What We’re Looking For :

Basic Qualifications
An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 5 to 7 years of experience in  quantitative modeling or software development supporting financial analysis.
Knowledge of capital markets and financial instruments, with an emphasis on credit risk modeling preferred .
Basic understanding of  database modeling/design and applications, including knowledge of SQL and experience in databases such as Oracle, Sybase, or Access .
P roficiency in Microsoft Excel/VBA and programming languages such as R, Python, C++, and MATLAB .
Persistent with a natural curiosity about credit markets and technical details .
Displays well-rounded communication skills that implement good listening techniques, clear and good verbal skills. The ability to communicate across a wide range of groups and personalities internally and externally.
Works well in a team environment, focusing on collaboration and adapting to the needs of a diverse team.
Additional Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance , Financial Engineering, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
Able to summarize complex quantitative concepts clearly and concisely for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience supporting multi-stage projects from planning through execution.
Strong time management, prioritization and deadline-management skills.
Effective communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder-management skills.
Creative problem-solver who works well in fast-paced environments.
We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week
