Summary
Under the direction of the Senior Director for Mental and School Health and as a part of a multidisciplinary team the Urgent Care Mental Health Specialist will provide on-site and remote direct therapeutic services to pediatric patients, ages 5 – 26, and their families, and adults, including assessments, treatment plans and discharge planning.
The specialist will also engage with staff and families in the urgent care center that they are covering to provide information, education, brief consultations and referrals for patients and staff seeking assistance with mental health issues. The specialist will be available for consultations both virtually and in person when not otherwise in treatment sessions.
