Senior Technician-Reliability at Microchip | LAYIQ

Education & Experience Requirements: Proven experience loading, unloading, and reworking semiconductor devices on circuit boards, including sockets, DUTs, and test fixtures, using ESD-safe practices.
Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, with 7+ years of hands-on laboratory or semiconductor experience.
Strong working knowledge of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, curve tracers, programmers, and automated test systems.
Experience supporting engineering test setups, debugging hardware issues, and assisting engineers with board bring-up and device validation.
Additional Requirements & Qualifications: Self-motivated and take full responsibility for creating lab solutions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must adhere to Microchips guiding values.
Limited travel: 5% or less.
Must be able to lift 40lbs safely.
US Person; due to ITAR Lab Requirements.
