Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 -
Under the Supervision of the lead technologist, the technologist will follow established policies, perform established CT protocols, venipuncture, tele-radiography, complete routine clerical tasks and assist patients. The technologist will apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illness or injury. Education/Training :
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology. Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology .
Licenses/Certification:
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Computerized Tomography
- Massachusetts DPH Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and Computerized Tomography
- Venipuncture certification which is provided from the institution during the 12-week probationary period.
