Job Description
As a Software Engineer Co-op on the TRSS team, you will be working on projects that support and extend the full stack of the TRSS solutions suite. This role requires a full stack engineer who is comfortable with data-intensive systems and frontend UI development. There will be opportunity to learn about new technologies and engage in new development.
Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer Co-Op , you will define, scope and manage one or more projects ensuring technical objectives are achieved. As a Software Engineer Co-Op , you will also contribute to a variety of areas, including:
Learning new technologies and frameworks, and software development best practices.
Participating in the review of specifications and the estimating process.
Writing well-designed, well-constructed, and well-tested code.
Supporting programming changes during quality assurance and product rollouts.
Required Qualifications
You’re a good fit for the role of Software Engineer Co-Op if you have the following: Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) to different audiences.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.
Team player mindset
Understanding of computer science principles and algorithms.
Experience coding in either Java or Python.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance
U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, SQL

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
