The GE Appliances Tooling Engineer - Metals will be a member of the Metal Stamping Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team. The Metal Stamping AME Team owns and maintains the engineering standards for metal stamping tooling and equipment for the company.
The engineer will be responsible for assisting and supporting the management and execution of tooling and metal stamping equipment projects, helping to ensure that all tooling and equipment are compliant with standards and executed within the project or program deliverables (safety, cost, quality and delivery). At times, the engineer will be assigned to New Product Introduction (NPI) programs or to product lines projects to drive product cost out and factory productivity.
