Technical Designer I at L.L.Bean | LAYIQ

Experience in Technical Design, Product Development, Apparel Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit evaluation, patternmaking, and quality standards.
Experience creating and maintaining technical specifications and fit documentation.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Qualifications
2-year associates degree
3+ years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of apparel or accessory garment construction, terminology and fit
Strong knowledge of pattern making/draping and grading
Excellent communication skills
Excellent computer skills including 3D (CLO), Adobe Illustrator and PDM (Product Data Management)
Strong analytical skills
Solid technical drawing skills
Good understanding of the L.L.Bean customer
Good attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to lift/carry 20lbs. on a regular basis
L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $73,000.00 - $91,200.00. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
