Printpack Bloomington is seeking an experience maintenance technician. The Electromechanical Technician installs, maintains, and repairs complex electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment while ensuring optimal performance and safety standards. Working independently in a fast-paced environment, this position requires technical expertise to manage multiple priorities, minimize downtime, and support production goals through continuous improvement initiatives.
Shift for this position works 4 nights a week, 7PM-7AM.
This position is eligible for a $3000.00 sign on bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs comprehensive electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex manufacturing equipment, including 24V analog/digital circuitry, VFDs, PLCs, and automated systems
- Executes preventive maintenance programs through scheduled inspections, calibrations, and repairs while documenting all activities in computerized maintenance systems
