Job Description:
Job Summary:
The field supervisor supervises subcontractors who are installing HVAC equipment and accessories. Ensures work meets builder’s needs and conducts quality-control checks on completed work. As needed due to staffing and customer needs, performs service, maintenance, and installation work. Work is performed under the direction of the General Manager or Production Manager.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities*:
· Assists in all phases of HVAC residential and commercial new construction.
· Manages a group of sub-contractor craftsmen (installers and helpers).
· Walk jobs regularly and verify readiness for both HVAC rough-in and HVAC trim installations.
· Coordinates installation dates with scheduling team and ensures job is ready for installation
· Check the jobs by phase to assure work is completed.
· Ensure schedule compliance completion of assigned work by Subcontractor installation crews.
· Coordinates with sub-contractors and office regarding punch lists or repairs as needed.
