Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is looking for Welders to join our fabrication shop in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will work both independently and on a team with minimal supervision.

TRAINING IN HIGH POINT, NC

We are currently looking for welders to join our talented crew. This is a unique opportunity to start your journey at our High Point, NC shop with the opportunity of relocating to our brand-new facility in Asheboro, NC!

Schedule: 1st Shift , 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary
Location: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263

Responsibilities:

Weld structural steel members using (MIG) wirefeed processes
Weld in 3G and 4G positions according to safety-oriented procedures
Read welding symbols and understand testing requirements
Follow proper safety instructions
Work in a team environment
Perform other duties as needed by supervision
Education Requirements: Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED or related experience as a certified structural steel welder as determined by the plant manager
Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required

Ability to pass a 3G and 4G weld test using GMAW process on 3/8“ material
