Meteorologist
Location: Denver, CO (KDVR/WKGN-TV)
Reports to – News Director
KDVR Fox 31 Denver and KWGN/Colorado’s CW 2 has an immediate opening for an experienced Meteorologist to join the Pinpoint Weather Team. This is an extremely rare opportunity in a great city with an excellent quality of life.
We are looking for a Meteorologist who is passionate about weather. The successful candidate must know how to make the forecast presentable and interesting and love to produce weathercasts in different ways. You should be able to produce creative graphics and make your show interesting, urgent, and impactful. You must also be able to report LIVE in all sorts of weather conditions. Knowledge of “Weather Alert Day” branding is a plus. Knowledge of mountain meteorology and Colorado is a big benefit.
This position goes beyond forecasting in newscasts to also include anchoring streaming weather programs and extended live breaking weather coverage.
