The Senior Sales Account Executive generates advertising revenue by calling on established agencies, cold-calling new prospects and demonstrating to potential clients of the merits of television and digital advertising on WFXR/WWCW/WFXRtv.com and Nexstar Digital platforms.
We serve Roanoke, Lynchburg, the New River Valley and surrounding counties. As a member of our team, you’ll visit local businesses, find out what makes them unique, and help craft creative plans to share that information with our audience to help their businesses grow and thrive.
Implements strategies to consistently grow revenue and exceed revenue goals.
Establishes credible relationships with local business community.
Prospect, qualify, close, and grow new business.
Makes sales calls on existing and prospective clients.
Maintains assigned accounts and develops new accounts.
Prepares and delivers sales presentations to clients.
Continue to learn and implement new strategies and products.
