About the Department
eTech is a group of friendly technology professionals and enthusiasts who act as the primary functional and technical support for multiple admissions systems at the University of Chicago. Duties also include technology operations, implementation, business analysis, technical documentation, inventory, and triage and troubleshooting for technology aspects for users within the Office of Enrollment and Student Advancement.
Most of our time is spent supporting the admissions systems through submitted tickets and meetings with the various functional users, but we also handle computer inventory and deployment logistics as well as triaging and troubleshooting issues with any technical equipment in any of our three office locations on campus.
