Responsibilities:
- The incumbent is an experienced, hands-on technician, responsible for supporting injection molding operations, tooling performance, hot runner systems, mold troubleshooting, process stability, and production efficiency. The role serves as a technical resource for production teams, process technicians, tooling personnel, maintenance, engineering, and quality.
- Set up, start up, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding processes to support safe, efficient, and repeatable production.
- Identify and resolve molding defects such as flash, short shots, burns, splay, sink, voids, dimensional variation, contamination, gate issues, and cosmetic defects.
- Apply advanced knowledge of molds, tooling construction, mold alignment, parting lines, venting, gate conditions, ejector systems, and wear-related tooling issues.
