Job Description
Position Summary
The Food Service Worker position actively prepares and serves food in a high-volume foodservice operation to assure the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service are always achieved. This position is in-person at Rams Horn Dining Hall on the Colorado State University Campus.
- Essential Job Duties
- 1. Serve foods according to established standards and portions
- Assure foods that are served always meet the highest standards of quality and appearance
- Meet defined food production standards guided by standardized recipes and menus
Monitor and restock food and supplies to prevent disruptions in service.
- 2. Occasionally prepare foods using skills that include, but are not limited to, baking, roasting, sauteing, frying, grilling, broiling, steaming, chopping, measuring, and mixing
