Job Overview

This role assists in the provision of direct patient care by arranging patients for radiological examinations. Produces radiographs (X-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Prevents the patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. In addition, performs routine medical assisting procedures such as administering intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal injections and performing skin tests, venipunctures, and skin punctures for blood specimens.
