About the Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Aquatics Director, the Aquatics Operations Coordinator assists with planning and coordinating pool operations, including training and supervising lifeguards , developing and executing staffing schedules, overseeing the facility and equipment operations, implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring the pool is in compliance and operating under best demonstrated practices.
This position will maintain a safe environment that upholds the Trefethen Aquatic Center’s written standards, while ensuring that the facility remains a major part of a vibrant campus, including its facilities, programming, and the safety of all users.
Weekend, early morning, evening, and holiday work hours will be required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree required with 3-5 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
