JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Undergraduate Academic Advising (Oakland campus) is part of a leadership team that is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and assessment of student advising services on the Northeastern University Oakland campus.
The Assistant Director works in partnership with the Director of Global Undergraduate Academic Advising in hiring, supervising and training staff; supports implementation of advising-related technology; provides academic advisement to students; coordinates special advising related projects to support student retention and university goals, and best practices in advising. It is critical that the Assistant Director works to foster a welcoming, nurturing, and belonging environment for all students.
