About the Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Coach position supports the Men's Club Ice Hockey program within the Department of Recreational Sports at Northeastern University, reporting to the Associate Director of Club Sports and Head Coach Pat Hanlon. This role is responsible for developing participant sport skills, supervising games and practices, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all club participants.
The Assistant Coach works closely with club officers and student leaders to establish team goals while upholding all University and Club Sport rules, regulations, and sportsmanship standards. This position requires evening and weekend availability, including travel to off-campus matches and events.
This position is paid with a yearly stipend of $3,000.
