Clinical Secretary - 4 West Spine Center - FT - Day at Stormont-Vail HealthCare | LAYIQ

Provide Professional and exemplary customer service needs for the department, staff, patients and visitors.
Receives incoming telephone calls, screens and appropriately routes calls to department staff, visitor or medical team.
Prepares and maintains patient’s paper medical record documents while in the patient care area. (consents, face sheets, labels, and EKG’s).
Assist with department specific checklists and logs (including daily equipment, expired supplies, cleaning logs, Clinical Engineering request and facilities repairs). Findings will be reported to appropriate staff and ancillary departments.
Assist with inventory of departmental supplies (including forms, equipment and instruments). Ensures supplies have been ordered, received and stored in appropriate supply areas. Trace status of orders and resolves any issues.
Assisting in clerical duties such as sorting and filing documents, photocopy documents and data entry.
Promotes a mutually respectful environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and supports the effectiveness of professional relationships.
Demonstrates advocacy in all roles and settings.
