Intern (Non-Exempt) - Lincoln Center - FT - Day at Stormont-Vail HealthCare | LAYIQ

The Intern will support departmental operations through administrative, analytical, and project-based tasks. This internship provides hands-on experience in a healthcare setting, offering exposure to hospital workflows, patient services, and interdepartmental collaboration.
Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in meetings and contribute to ongoing initiatives
Serve as a real-time medical scribe for one to two designated providers during patient encounters.
Document patient histories, exams, assessments, procedures, and plans in the EHR as directed.
Assist providers with EHR navigation to support efficient clinic flow.
Locate and organize relevant clinical information for provider review.
Attend and observe surgical cases and procedures in compliance with OR protocols.
Support pre-visit planning activities and chart readiness.
Ensure all documentation complies with SVH standards including provider authentication.
Contribute to department projects and quality improvement initiatives.
Assist with basic data collection and reporting.
Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
Attend meetings, in-services, and required training.
Other duties as assigned.
