JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Provides evidence-based individual and group clinical interventions both in the office and community settings to develop trusting relationships with clients. Engage with clients so that they may more freely discuss substance use and its effects on mental and physical health and daily functioning. Aid clients in setting their own goals for treatment, as well as plans to reduce or abstain from substance use and to learn healthy coping skills.
Build rapport and a therapeutic relationship with clients to introduce them to all the elements of a healthy recovery.
