Education
Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields (Early Childhood) Education, Social Work, Psychology, or other mental health related field is required. Four years of relevant experience may be substituted for education. Graduates of the RIP program preferred.
Substitution of Experience for High School Education: Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school, successful completion of a Regional Intervention Program recognized by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, and two years of work experience in mental health, child development, social work, or other related acceptable field.
Experience
Experience working with young children and their families is preferred.
