JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Teaches, guides, instructs and supports persons with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders to address barriers in any life domain, associated with their recovery. Identifies and meets the client where they are and coaches them to success. Teaches skills such as: self-advocacy, negotiation, problem solving, goal setting, symptom management, recovery capital, daily living (i.e.
housekeeping, cooking, cleaning, and parenting) , communication, coping, financial/budgeting and money management , benefits management, vocational, identifying triggers to prevent relapse, community integration, and social/recreation/leisure skills.
