JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Certified Peer Crisis Specialist is someone who has verification of certification from the state and self-identifies as a voice of recovery with lived mental health and/or addiction experience and or qualifies as an individual who has supported an immediate family member through recovery. Expected to deploy with team to persons in the community who is experiencing a mental health and/or an addiction crisis. Assists clients with support and de-escalation during time of crisis; assisting clients with articulating personal goals
