Staff Engineer at Astemo | LAYIQ

1. A bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of work experience in Quality Assurance in the automotive industry.
2. Experience with ISO/IATF and Internal Quality Systems.
3. Knowledge and use of a wide variety of measuring instruments and complicated drawings.
4. Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques and documentation.
5. Excellent attention to detail.
6. Ability to communicate in both written format and oral presentation.
7. Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
8. Supervision experience.
9. Must be proficient in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint. Some Access experience preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the direction and supervision of employees.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Required to sit & stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Usual office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet. The performance of this position may occasional require exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment and steel toe shoes.
