Advanced PE Final Assembly Process Engineer at Astemo | LAYIQ

Required: Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Possess strong initiative to complete project tasks on-time and in-budget.
Possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams.
Possess strong time management skills to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
Ability to manage projects in a team environment.
Beneficial: SolidWorks 3-D CAD modeling (or other CAD systems) experience
Programming capability (PLC/GLC, C++, VB, SQL, etc.)
Experience with Surface Mount Technology
Vision systems (Keyence, Cognex)
Experience with Process Design
Experience with robotic applications
Education: BS degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or other engineering technology.
Experience: 7 + years of engineering experience in automotive/manufacturing environment
Job level determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities: n/a
Working conditions: Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Travel: Travel for training and to support machine design and validation, customer/supplier/group company support, etc. will vary but should be < 30%
