Suspension Sr. Engineer at Astemo | LAYIQ

The ideal candidate will: Have working knowledge and experience with APQP program management
Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Microsoft Project
Data analysis and ability to draw conclusions to support problem solving.
Experience with the following is desired, (not required) CAD software (i.e. CATIA V4, V5, UG, Solidworks preferred)
CAE/FEA software (ie.. ANSYS)
Math software - Matlab/Simulink, Statistical software – ie. Minitab
Have experience tracking and reporting design changes.
Capability in spoken and written Japanese language is a benefit
Experience with shocks, struts, automotive suspension components highly desirable.
Self starter with ability to work remote from home.
Education: Possess a bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent)
Experience : Have a minimum of 5 years experience in automotive or similar field with launch experience.
Working conditions: Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Travel: Some domestic and international travel may be required . Must have a valid driver’s license.
