Operations Engineering Manager at Astemo | LAYIQ

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field required
5–10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
Experience with OSHA requirements in a manufacturing environment
Experience with capital project management and process design.
Skills
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and budgeting skills
Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Ability to interact professionally with employees at all organizational levels
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Communication Skills
Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills effectively in Business English.
Physical Requirements
Work in a manufacturing environment that may include equipment noise, temperature variations, and dust
Perform job duties that require standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and moving throughout the workday
Work safely in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulatory standards
Communicate, observe, and interpret information necessary to perform job duties, with or without assistive devices
Understand and follow written and verbal instructions related to safety, quality, and operations
Occasionally move or handle tools, materials, equipment, or documents
When required, lift or move items up to 10 pounds without assistance
When lifting, pushing, pulling, or transporting heavier items (up to 50 pounds or more), company-provided assistive or mechanical devices will be used
