Job Summary
Salary Range: $85,000 to $105,000 Yearly dependent upon education and experience.
The Senior Materials Planner independently leads material and supply planning for assigned product lines, supplier categories, or production units to ensure uninterrupted material availability, reliable production execution, and achievement of customer service and inventory objectives.
This role translates demand, production schedules, and material requirements planning outputs into executable supply plans; serves as the primary supply chain contact for assigned suppliers and internal stakeholders; and makes informed decisions regarding procurement, inventory positioning, material allocation, and recovery priorities. The Senior Materials Planner anticipates supply, capacity, quality, and inventory risks; develops scenarios and mitigation strategies; and provides clear recommendations to business leaders.
