Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY :
The Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing processes with a primary focus on CNC machining operations, setup optimization, tooling, programming support, and continuous improvement initiatives. He/She role partners closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to improve productivity, reduce costs, enhance product quality, and ensure regulatory compliance within a medical device manufacturing environment.
The Manufacturing Engineer II will provide technical support for CNC machining processes, including machine setup optimization, tooling selection and validation, process development, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and implementation of process improvements. The role requires strong technical knowledge of machining principles, manufacturing processes, fixtures, tooling, and lean manufacturing concepts.
