Job Description
The Opportunity
This position manages a unit that provides programs and events to build community, welcome and orient new students, and support a lively campus culture. The Associate Director plans and implements New Student Orientation programs and the department’s large-scale signature events such as Homecoming and Blue & Gold Week. In addition, this position supervises the Assistant Director for Campus Activities and a graduate assistant.
The Associate Director reports to the Executive Director and is part of a collaborative team of professionals supporting student engagement across a wide range of areas that also include student organizations, student government, fraternity & sorority life, and the Student Union.
