Senior Concrete Project Manager at The Christman Company | LAYIQ

As Senior Concrete Project Manager, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Serves as the primary point of contact with clients, and oversees all aspects of the project including financial management, change management, scheduling, conflict resolution and contractor relations.
Manages the Preconstruction and Construction phases of assigned projects.
Assists in the development of project procurement documents for various delivery methods.
Oversees the cost/change management process from start to finish for assigned projects.
Compares assessment of client needs to contractual obligations and delivery professional management services by Christman Mid-Atlantic team and all contracted trades, vendors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure that proper service is provided to the client.
Partners with Design Team to coordinate delivery of design packages with schedules for estimating, bidding, and construction.
Allocates project resources based on project demands, and adjusts resource needs throughout the project life cycle.
Establishes subcontract agreements and work scopes for all trade contractors and communicates expectations and responsibilities related to project planning, coordination with other trades, safety, and proactive definition of work quality.
Executes contractual risk protections by determining Builder’s Risk Insurance approach for the project (Owner or Christman provided) and ensures required coverage amounts and dates.
Models safety awareness and planning at all times, observe safety practices on site and promptly address any unsafe situations or behaviors, reporting violations and coordinating corrective actions to the project superintendent.
Partners with governing authorities responsible for inspections and approvals to proactively understand requirements and potential concerns, and develop plans to fulfill or exceed standards.
Establishes work and authority scopes for all project team members and trade contractors and communicates expectations and responsibilities related to project planning, coordination with other trades, safety, and proactive definition of work quality.
Sets and continually manages project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders.
