The Associate Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. The scope of this work requires a basic understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software, along with the ability to troubleshoot network issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with senior engineers to design and implement network solutions that meet business needs and security standards.
- Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment while monitoring network performance to quickly identify and resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Complete accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Resolve network-related initiatives and issues with cross-functional teams.
- Work with clients on virtual private network (VPN) installations and troubleshooting.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
