The Temporary Title IX Coordinator supports work to create a campus culture that is welcoming and inclusive for students, faculty and staff from all backgrounds.
Reporting to the Vice President for Equity and Inclusion, the Temporary Title IX Coordinator will serve as the designee and authorized coordinator of the University’s compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and applicable federal regulations.
The Temporary Title IX Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Deputy Title IX Coordinator, Human Resources, Student Affairs, Public Safety, Counseling and Psychological Services, Disability and Accessibility services, and General Counsel, while maintaining appropriate independence, privacy, and freedom from conflicts of interest or bias.
This position will carry sufficient institutional authority and access to information and decision makers to coordinate prompt and effective compliance in accordance with the University’s policies and processes.
