We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial construction and tenant improvement projects from initial concept through final closeout. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and an excellent communicator who can build strong relationships with clients, contractors, design teams, and other project stakeholders. You are a hands-on leader and relationship builder who takes ownership of projects, anticipates problems, and gets things done.
You have a strong understanding of commercial construction, know how to manage budgets and schedules, and can effectively bring clients, designers, contractors, and consultants together to deliver successful projects on time and on budget
In this role, you will…
Lead multiple commercial construction and tenant improvement projects from planning through completion.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and overall project plans.
Lead architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other project team members.
Coordinate bidding, RFPs, contractor selection, permitting, construction, and closeout.
Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, invoices, and payment applications.
Conduct project and construction meetings and maintain clear project documentation.
Monitor project progress, costs, schedule, quality, and risks; identify and resolve issues before they impact the project.
Provide regular project status updates, including budget, schedule, risks, and key milestones.
Conduct site visits and oversee construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
Maintain organized project files and ensure complete project closeout.
Build and maintain strong client and industry relationships.
Mentor and collaborate with other project management staff and contribute to business development.
