Sr. Manager, Trade Business Communications (Presentation and Design) at Scholastic | LAYIQ

12–15 years of experience in business communications, marketing communications, or a related field, preferably within the trade publishing industry.
Exceptional writer and storyteller with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences and business objectives.
Strong visual design aesthetic with expertise in developing polished, engaging presentations and communication materials that bring ideas to life.
Proven ability to translate complex concepts and leadership feedback into concise, visually compelling narratives.
Collaborative partner who builds strong relationships and works effectively across Marketing, Editorial, Sales, Publicity, Corporate Communications, and executive leadership.
Strategic, creative thinker with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, matrixed organization and adapting quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Advanced proficiency in Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint, with strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
Experience with Salesforce and Spekit are a plus.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
