Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our finance team. This position offers students hands-on experience in job cost accounting within the construction industry. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced job cost and finance professionals, learn valuable accounting and construction-finance skills, and contribute to the financial success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the job cost accounting process for active projects, helping ensure timely and accurate reporting of job costs
- Support project managers and finance staff in gathering and organizing job cost data
- Help monitor job cost data and assist in identifying trends or discrepancies: such as labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor costs.
- Assist in preparing job cost reports and basic metrics for internal stakeholders
- Support the team in preparing data for project bids and proposals
