Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Estimating Intern to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in construction estimating while balancing their academic commitments. As a part-time student worker, you will work alongside experienced estimators, learn valuable skills, and contribute to the success of our project bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Cost Estimates: Support the estimating team in reviewing project plans, specifications, and other documents to help determine scope of work and costs.
- Bid Proposal Support: Help preform takeoffs prepare detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for construction projects under supervision.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with other departments and stakeholders to ensure estimates are accurate and complete.
- Cost Monitoring: Assist in tracking and analyzing project costs, and help flag potential cost overruns.
