Summary
The Project Health and Safety Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure compliance with all local, state, federal and client-based health and safety regulations on the construction project site. This role involves identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, leading safety training, and enforcing safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
The Project Health and Safety Manager will collaborate with Branch and Project management, subcontractors, and craft employees to promote a strong safety culture, investigate incidents, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. The position plays a critical role in protecting personnel, property, and the organization while supporting successful project delivery.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Traveling to other branches and job-sites are required.
Assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of the project Health and Safety Management Plan.
Develop and d eliver site -specific safety orientation for all employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
