What You'll Do

• As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships, and supporting revenue growth within your assigned territory.
• Business Development & Sales Growth
• Drive sales growth and profitability within assigned accounts and territories.
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across OEM, Industrial, and Automotive Refinish customers.
• Develop strategic account plans to grow market share and strengthen customer relationships.
• Deliver sales, revenue, collection, and profitability objectives.
• Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at multiple organizational levels.
• Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending solutions that create value.
• Support customer retention and loyalty through consistent engagement and excellent service.
• Product & Project Management
• Lead the implementation, monitoring, and coordination of customer projects and product launches.
• Partner with Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing, and Technical Service teams to successfully execute customer initiatives.
• Drive product approvals, specification wins, and new product introductions.
• Support product trials and commercialization activities at customer facilities.
• Dealer, Distributor & Channel Management
• Manage and expand distributor and dealer networks where applicable.
• Support channel partners in achieving business objectives and market expansion goals.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen market coverage and customer reach.
• Technical & Customer Support
• Collaborate with technical teams to support product application, troubleshooting, and customer training initiatives.
• Assist customers in resolving product-related challenges and improving operational performance.
• Participate in audits, training programs, and continuous improvement activities.
• Forecasting & Business Planning
• Develop accurate sales forecasts and business plans.
• Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitive developments.
• Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to support decision-making and business growth strategies.

What We're Looking For

• Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Paint Technology, Chemistry, Business, or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is desirable.
• Experience
• 5-10 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or technical-commercial roles within: Coatings and paints
• Automotive OEM

• Additional Requirements
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is advantageous.
