Introduction
At FLS, the Product Development Engineer – Pumps plays a key role in the design, development, and continuous improvement of pump products and related systems. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining designs, assemblies, and engineering documentation while supporting new product development and sustaining engineering activities across the pump portfolio.
Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Service teams, this role helps deliver reliable, cost-effective, and competitive pump solutions that meet customer and business requirements.
Your Responsibilities
Sensors & Condition Monitoring: Lead the integration of sensors and connected condition-monitoring technologies into slurry pump and rotodynamic equipment designs, capturing machine-health data to enable early detection of wear and mechanical degradation and to advance the next generation of connected pump products.
