You’ll step into the classroom to provide meaningful instruction, support student growth, and maintain a positive learning environment when the regular teacher is unavailable. What You’ll Be Doing:
Deliver engaging instruction and implement lesson plans for students in accordance with established curriculum
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual student needs
Supervise and support students in classroom and school settings
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with staff and families
Who We’re Looking For: Bachelor's degree from an accredited school required.
Current Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Nebraska Substitute Teacher Certificate or a Local Substitute Teacher Certificate required.
PEM, CPR and nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained if subbing in the RTC or select settings required.
CPR and personal restraint certification (required in select settings)
Background and experience to include work with learning disabled and behaviorally impaired learners preferred.
Special Education endorsement preferred.
