Position Purpose:
The Foundation Field Sr. Specialist, in partnership with the Foundation Field Manager, will be responsible for working with The Home Depot Foundation team to develop and implement a successful and meaningful Team Depot/associate volunteer program. The position is responsible for grant process and review, project management and execution of service projects, training and recruitment communication materials, reporting and evaluation, and development of plans and proposals. The Foundation Field Sr.
Specialist will also manage some nonprofit partner relationships and will support Foundation fundraising events as well as national campaigns such as Celebration of Service, Spring and MLK, Jr. campaigns. This position will participate in the ongoing development of policies, programs and practices based on a continued assessment of community needs; alignment with company business imperatives; measurement of community impact, business value and impact on corporate reputation
