Roles span Designer II through Principal, Senior Consultant. Your level — and your title — are determined by your assessment, not by the role you apply to.

ICT/Telecom at TEECOM: TEECOM's ICT/Telecom practice designs and documents the telecommunications structured cabling infrastructure that enables communications and network connectivity within buildings, across campuses, and throughout organizations. Our clients span a wide and growing range of industries and facility types across the US, UK, and India.

Work includes design of telecom structured cabling systems and supporting infrastructure - copper and fiber cabling, telecom rooms, pathways, and bonding/grounding. ICT/Telecom designers at TEECOM work across the full project lifecycle — from conceptual design to construction documents, through construction administration and project close-out.

You will collaborate with architects, other engineers, client IT teams, end users, and construction managers to deliver flexible, coordinated, and constructable technology infrastructure designs.

At more senior levels, you will lead design decisions, mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and help grow TEECOM's ICT/Telecom practice.

What We're Looking For: We hire at all levels — the strongest ICT/Telecom candidates are proactive, curious about how infrastructure actually gets built, and take ownership of producing documents that contractors can follow without guessing.

If you don’t have everything on this list yet, that’s expected — TEECOM develops people through structured documentation, mentorship, and real project work.

• Experience designing structured cabling systems (copper and fiber) across a range of facility types and industries
• Familiarity with BICSI standards, ANSI/TIA standards, applicable limited energy code requirements (NFPA 70, local codes), and building codes
• Ability to read and produce detailed construction documents — schedules, diagrams, plans, sections/elevations, details, and specifications
• Experience with Revit for technology systems documentation

Understanding of outside plant infrastructure, including conduit and ductbank routing practices, OSP cabling requirements, coordination with other site utilities, interface with building entrance locations, and connection to service provider infrastructure — preferred

• Degree in any four-year engineering discipline, computer science, technology management, or a related technical field — or equivalent hands-on experience
• BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification — preferred
• BICSI OSP (Outside Plant Designer) certification — preferred
• BICSI DCDC (Data Center Design Consultant) — preferred
• BICSI RTPM (Registered Telecommunications Project Manager) — preferred
• PE license (electrical preferred) — preferred
• Ability to manage your own work independently across multiple concurrent projects
