Job Description
Texas A&M University–Victoria seeks a full-time, 12-month faculty member for an appointment as a tenure-track Associate or Full Professor or a non-tenure-track Professor of Practice to serve as the Founding Director of the new Bachelor of Science programs in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Software Engineering. The Founding Director will provide leadership for launching, promoting, and advancing these programs and will teach courses within the programs.
Qualifications: The Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in engineering are designed to serve the community in the Coastal Bend region of Texas. The Founding Director will serve as a primary point of contact for Texas A&M University-Victoria (A&M-Victoria), with a primary focus on developing and supporting the BS in Civil Engineering, Software Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering with a focus on the intersections between these disciplines.
