We are seeking a Geotechnical Section Manager to support the Department Manager in leading a geotechnical engineering team focused on transportation infrastructure projects. This role functions as a deputy department manager, providing both technical oversight and personnel management. The Section Manager will be responsible for guiding the design, development, and delivery of geotechnical project tasks, while managing scope, budget, and quality control.
They will coordinate project priorities, staffing schedules, and assignments to ensure that resources are aligned with client needs. In addition, the Section Manager will provide technical coaching and mentorship, support reviews of deliverables, and promote the efficient and productive utilization of staff to maintain high standards of service and performance.
