The Role
General Motors is transforming the transportation industry through advanced electrical architectures, high-performance computing, and the integration of ADAS and infotainment capabilities. GM’s Software-Defined Vehicle 2.0 (SDV2) platform is our next-generation centralized computing architecture. At the heart of this transformation is an in-house designed, liquid-cooled central compute unit that enables faster development cycles, more efficient software updates, and seamless scalability across every GM brand.
As an Electrical Hardware Engineer - Compute Validation, you will play a key role in the validation and release readiness of next-generation high-compute ECUs that enable automated driving, vehicle intelligence, and immersive digital experiences. This role is intended for an experienced engineer who can independently drive validation activities across prototype and production-intent hardware, with direct ownership of environmental and EMC validation planning, execution, issue tracking, and closure.
